Returns & Refunds Policy

Compac Panels is a division of Compac Group. We aim to supply high quality products and ensure a smooth experience for our customers. The following terms apply to all returns and refund requests.

1. Claims and Notification

All claims, including shortages, incorrect supply, or requests for credit, must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.

This 7 day claim period does not apply to damage in transit, which must be reported within 48 hours of delivery in accordance with our Shipping Policy.

2. Non Returnable Goods

The following items are not eligible for return or credit:

  • Products not in our standard product range that are manufactured or customised to specific customer requirements
  • Clearance or special order items unless faulty

3. Change of Mind Returns

Returns for change of mind may be considered at our discretion and must:

  • Be requested within 7 days of delivery
  • Be approved by Compac Panels prior to return
  • Be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition and packaging
  • Be returned at the customer’s cost

Approved returns may incur a restocking fee of up to 10%.

4. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If goods arrive damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photos, order details, and a description of the issue.

We will assess the claim and, where appropriate, arrange replacement, repair, or credit.

Compac Panels is not responsible for damage occurring after delivery, including improper handling, storage, or installation.

5. Return Process

No goods are to be returned without prior approval.

Once approved:

  • We will provide return instructions
  • Goods must be returned in saleable condition unless faulty
  • Unauthorised returns may be refused or returned at the sender’s cost

6. Refunds and Credits

Approved refunds will be issued at Compac Panels’ discretion as either:

  • A credit to the customer’s account
  • A refund via the original payment method

Processing times may vary.

7. Freight and Responsibility

Unless goods are confirmed faulty or incorrectly supplied:

  • All return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • Original delivery charges are non refundable

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

8. Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.
