Terms & Conditions
Compac Panels is a division of Compac Group. These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through compacpanels.co.nz and any related transactions with Compac Panels. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Pricing
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclude GST unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time prior to order confirmation.
2. Product Information
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate. However, variations may occur, including colour, grain, finish differences, and batch to batch variation in materials. These variations do not constitute a defect.
3. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by Compac Panels and product availability.
We reserve the right to:
- Decline or cancel any order
- Limit quantities supplied
- Correct pricing or listing errors
If an order is cancelled, any payment received will be refunded or credited.
4. Payment Terms
Payment must be received prior to dispatch unless a credit account has been approved.
For approved credit accounts:
- Payment is due by the 20th of the month following purchase
- Overdue accounts may incur a 2% per month penalty
- The customer is liable for all collection costs, including legal fees, incurred in recovering overdue amounts
Title in the goods remains with Compac Panels until full payment is received.

5. Risk and Delivery
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for inspecting goods upon delivery and ensuring goods are suitable prior to installation or use.
6. Use of Products
Compac Panels is not responsible for incorrect installation or application of products, or for failure to follow recommended handling or installation practices.
All products should be checked prior to installation. Once goods have been installed, they are considered accepted as being in satisfactory condition unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Returns, Credits and Refunds
All returns, credits, and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compac Panels is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit or business interruption. Our liability is limited to the replacement, repair, or credit of the goods supplied.
9. Consumer Guarantees Act
Where goods are supplied for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply. Otherwise, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Act.
10. Default
If the customer fails to make payment when due, or breaches these Terms, we may:
- Suspend or cancel supply
- Recover outstanding amounts
- Repossess goods where payment has not been made
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
