Shipping Policy
Compac Panels is a division of Compac Group. We supply and deliver products nationwide across New Zealand. The following terms apply to all orders.
1. Order Processing and Dispatch
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 5 working days unless otherwise advised. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order size, and custom requirements.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes vary based on location, product type, and freight provider schedules. Estimated delivery timeframes will be provided after order confirmation. These are indicative only and not guaranteed.
Compac Panels is not liable for delays caused by third party freight providers or events outside our control.
3. Freight Charges
We offer nationwide freight coverage. The following handling and dispatch fees apply:
- Panel orders: $40 packing and handling fee per order
- Additional panel variants: $10 per extra panel SKU included in the order
- Accessory orders: $10 dispatch fee per shipment for items such as edge banding and cover caps
A Fuel Adjustment Factor (FAF) surcharge may apply during periods where increased fuel or freight costs are imposed by our carriers. All charges will be confirmed at the time of order.
4. Delivery Conditions
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable site access for delivery vehicles and appropriate arrangements for unloading goods.
Unless otherwise agreed, deliveries are made to the nearest accessible point. Assistance with unloading is not guaranteed. Failed delivery attempts due to site access issues may incur additional charges.
5. Risk and Ownership
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery. Ownership of goods remains with Compac Panels until full payment has been received in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
6. Damage in Transit
Customers must inspect all goods upon delivery.
Any damage caused in transit, shortages caused in transit, or delivery issues relating to transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and include:
- Photos of the damage
- Delivery documentation
- Order details
Claims submitted outside this timeframe may not be accepted.
7. Split Deliveries
Orders may be delivered in multiple shipments depending on stock availability and logistics. Additional dispatch fees may apply where applicable.
