Compac Panels is a New Zealand-owned and operated business that presses and processes decorative panels at our Northland factory. Since 1995, we’ve made surfaces that spark inspiration and help bring beautiful spaces to life.
1. Kiwis working with Kiwis
Compac Panels holds an NZ-MADE licence, recognising our status as a New Zealand family-owned manufacturer. Each board is pressed at our Northland factory, then processed and shipped from there.
2. Support past the sale
Good support should not end when an order leaves the factory. Because our team is based here, we’re easy to reach during New Zealand working hours and understand the needs of local joiners, manufacturers and designers.
Whether you have a question, a technical requirement or an unexpected challenge, we’ll work with you to find a practical solution.
Our products are backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee covering faulty materials and defective workmanship, subject to the applicable terms and product requirements.
3. More than 490 surfaces
Our offering spans more than 490 surfaces, giving you the freedom to find the right look for your project. We follow design trends, listen to customer feedback and continually refine our range.
Because surfaces need to perform as well as they look, we also monitor developments in materials and manufacturing. This allows us to introduce products that offer useful new or improved properties alongside strong decorative appeal.
4. Shorter supply chain
Local pressing and processing gives us greater control over the final stages of production and helps us respond when requirements change.
Working in the same country and time zone makes communication straightforward and helps us manage lead times. It also means heavy finished boards begin their journey to New Zealand customers from Northland rather than being imported as completed panels.
5. Reduced footprint
Local production reduces transport at the finished-board stage, but we recognise that this is only one part of our wider environmental impact.
We comply with applicable environmental regulations and continue to look for practical ways to reduce our impact through more efficient processes and considered material choices.
