Beyond Flat Black | Compac Panels

One colour, different surface expressions
Black is not a single-note surface. Finish and texture influence how it responds to light, how visually dominant it feels and the character it brings to joinery.
Matt
Clean & form-focused

A smooth, ultra-matte black creates a quiet, uniform appearance. With low sheen and little visible texture, attention remains on the cabinetry’s form, proportions and detailing. It is well suited to minimalist kitchens, handleless joinery and large architectural volumes.
TitanPanel Onyx Black is a neutral, ultra-matte, soft-feeling black with very low sheen and a subtle visual presence.

Embossed
Depth with light & shadow
Embossing gives a solid black surface physical relief without introducing a printed pattern. Fine highlights and shadows form across the texture, adding depth and preventing expansive areas of black from appearing completely flat. The result remains restrained while offering a more tactile, material quality than a smooth matte surface.
SatinWood Bolt Black has a subtle woodgrain texture that adds depth to the surface while keeping the overall look clean and simple.

Printed
Visual & tactile character
Printed and textured surfaces combine pattern, tonal variation and physical relief. The printed design establishes the dominant character such as woodgrain, stone, textile or metal while the texture adds tactile detail and changes how light plays across the surface. Where the texture aligns with the printed pattern, it can further strengthen the impression of depth and material authenticity.

Forest Charcoal PanelLam adds a darker timber look with visible grain and texture, giving the surface a more natural feel.
